Experience, Partnership, and Purpose
David has been a household name within the construction sector for over 25 years, the majority of his career was spent with the hugely successful Countryside Partnerships. There he went from Senior Surveyor all the way through to Group Commercial Director before finally ending as Managing Director of their Special Projects division of Vistry. He then departed to join Stonebond as their Regional Commercial Director, overseeing group activities. As of June 2024 he has held the same role within the newly constructed untypical group, being instrumental in pulling together five operational regions and setting the foundations that untypical can build on moving forward.
During David’s time at Countryside, he worked closely with Mike Hill, Group Procurement Director for over 15 years. The two developed a close friendship during their time with the business and have remained in touch ever since. Tragically, Mike has since fallen ill with cancer and has been unable to work on a concept he had masterminded prior to the end of his career with Countryside. This was to act as a group procurement function for SME developers.
With Mike’s blessing, David has acted on this seed of an idea and founded Amplified Commercial Services Ltd. As Amplified progress in its journey to service the SME market who at present are working in a market that arguably has never been harder to operate, we plan to create a foundation in Mike’s name and hold an annual event to support the ongoing research and treatment of cancer.
